ASX Issuer Services provides a number of services to issuers of approved financial products.


What services do we provide?

ASX Issuer Services provides a  number of services to issuers of approved financial products. These services include:

  • CHESS register setup (including unique identifiers, assigned share registry)
  • Legal title holder register
  • Entitlement tracking ( for corporate action or offer events such as dividends, rights issues)
  • Holder detail changes  ( e. g.: name, address)
  • Holder information communication (e. g. TFN, bank details)
  • Delivery vs Payment settlement of allocations for IPOs and capital raising activities ( e. g.  primary market facility)
  • Offer management services ( e. g. takeover, buy-back acceptances)
  • Holding adjustments made as a result of corporate actions
  • Issuer announcements and administration (e. g. issuer name and code changes, change of share  registry etc.)
  • CHESS Holding Statements and investor portal (including issuer branding on statements)

What's new

Primary Market Facility: New Pricing - Confirmed

The Primary Market Facility (PMF) is an optional service available to issuers which simplifies the settlement of funds for capital raised through a broker. From 1 December 2022 the fee for the PMF will be the greater of $7,500 or 0.015% of the capital raised.

These fees are outlined in the Primary Market Facility section of the ASX Issuer Services Schedule of Fees. These fee changes will be effective for all PMF applications received after 1 December 2022. The new ASX Issuer Services Schedule of Fees is now available here.

Issuer Services: New Pricing - Confirmed

On 1 June 2022, ASX released its response to submissions received on the March 2022 Discussion Paper - Issuer Services: New Pricing. The changes proposed in the paper were relevant to any issuer of approved financial products that uses or will use ASX Issuer Services.

The response summarises the key themes from the consultation process and ASX’s reply. The paper also sets out the confirmed changes and effective date of 1 July 2022.

ASX received 9 submissions in response to the Discussion Paper, with 4 provided on a confidential basis. The non-confidential submissions are available on the public consultations page.
